To invite people/friends to the group chat, click the’Create group’ option. To share a file as a photo, simply use the plus sign at the top of the window and select Upload File. Click on the smiley in the IM window or use the usual keyboard shortcuts. To make your message more interactive, you can add emoticons. To send, simply click on the’Send’ button and the message should be sent to the desired person. You will immediately see an instant messaging window on the right side of the screen. If you want to send a message to a friend, click on’Contact’. These contacts appear at the top of your contact list each time.
If you want to add contacts to your favorites, simply right-click on a contact’s name and select’Add to Favorites’. Simply click the’Add Contact’ button and start searching for a contact by name, Skype Name or Microsoft Account.
Give it a name of your choice, then browse the contacts and right-click on those you want to add to the list. To create a new contact list, right-click the Contacts tab and select Create New List. If you want to see them, select All in the contacts list, then select Messenger. If you do this, all your email contacts will automatically be added to Skype. Sign in to Skype with the same email account you used with Windows Messenger.
